During this Christmas season we celebrate the first time Jesus came, when he came to save his people just as scripture had promised. Scripture also promises us that Jesus will come a second time, when he will come to gather his people. And so we find ourselves living in between; in between his first coming and his second coming. This series will offer practical help on Living In Between.
How do you normally pray? With your eyes closed? With your head bowed? With your hands folder? Does it matter?
If you’re interested in learning more about prayer and being in a relationship with God, join us at Edgemere during the month of November for a sermon series called Prayer Postures.
Lot’s of people are fans of Jesus. Fans are enthusiastic admirers who want to be close enough to Jesus for the benefits but not close enough they’ll have to sacrifice. But Jesus was never interested interested in fans. He’s looking for followers; followers who will deny themselves and pick up their cross and go where Jesus goes. This series is meant to help you move from a fan to a follower.
